Action VFX Supervisor Masterclass Now In Our Circle B House!

Today Olivia completed The VFX Supervisor Masterclass from ActionVFX, taught by Emmy Award-winning visual effects supervisor Eran Dinur.
To most people, that may sound like just another online course.
For us, it's part of a much bigger journey.
For years we've specialized in 3D animation, building our films with the Reallusion suite of tools. As generative AI has matured, we've found ourselves standing at an exciting crossroads where traditional animation, AI filmmaking, and professional visual effects are beginning to merge into a completely new production pipeline.
Rather than resisting those changes, we've chosen to learn them.
This wasn't simply a class on software. It focused on the role of the VFX Supervisor—breaking down scripts, planning complex visual effects before cameras ever roll, supervising shoots, communicating with directors and cinematographers, reviewing vendor work, and understanding where AI genuinely helps... and where it doesn't.
Those are skills that simply aren't taught in most film schools.
As a two-person independent studio, we wear nearly every hat imaginable. Every new skill we acquire gives us more creative freedom and allows us to tell bigger stories without needing a Hollywood-sized budget.
Our immediate goal is applying these techniques to our 3D Animation films already on our production schedule "Fawn's Justice", "Singlewide Pride" and "Broken Ankle" plus our upcoming productions, including our Brother Jonathan documentary, where historical recreations will blend AI-generated imagery, 3D animation, live-action filmmaking, and visual effects into a seamless experience.
Longer term, we're excited to begin offering visual effects services to other filmmakers in our region.
Congratulations to Olivia. She worked through this masterclass over several weeks while juggling our productions, and I'm incredibly proud of what she's accomplished.
The future of filmmaking isn't AI replacing artists.
It's artists learning how to use every tool available to tell better stories.
